Please join us Thursday, December 14, 2017 for our December Information Session and hot breakfast.
What to Expect When You’re Expecting Disposition Authority Validation
Is your department waiting or just getting started with a Disposition Authority validation with Library and Archives Canada (LAC)? Are you wondering what you can do to make the work go more smoothly? This presentation will provide insight into the Transportation Safety Board’s pilot validation project, and the speaker will share the lessons learned throughout the process to help you organize the work and reduce the impact on your department.
About the Speaker:
Crystal Parsons began her government career as a Government Records Archivist at Library and Archives Canada (LAC) where she worked on appraisals. She became an IM Specialist out of a desire to work in the “glamour profession.” She’s worked on disposition authority (DA) projects in several departments including Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) and the Transportation Safety Board (TSB).
