Position Title: Content Management Specialist

Type: One-year Term with possibility of extension

Language: English and French Essential (bilingual) with minimum starting level of functional (level 4) in official second language. 
 
Salary: $69,000 - 85,200 (CAD)
 
Description:


As a subject matter expert, you report to the Manager of IM Operations and Archives in the IM Service Centre and will be assigned to BRE SharePoint / OneDrive Transformation project.  You will work in close collaboration with the project manager and other project and operation resources to support the transition of current client SharePoint sites to the online environment.  You will contribute to designing and implementing SharePoint online solutions that enhance the organization of, access to and sharing of information and that enable the ability of clients to collaborate more effectively within teams and across departments.  You will ensure spaces are designed to enable lifecycle management of information and support the application of the Bank’s information management policy, standards and practices. You will also support organizational change management (OCM) activities focused on equipping clients to work in the new environment and would also work in close collaboration with operational team members to help ensure they are ready to deliver support services. 

Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in information management, library sciences, or records and archives management, or related field
  • a minimum of four years of recent relevant work experience in any combination of information management, information technology services, web services, reference and research services, electronic/data resources, or client needs analysisCertified Project Management Professional (PMP) an asset
  • an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

Assets:

  • General knowledge of the Bank of Canada
  • Formal SharePoint training and/or certification
  • Ability to deliver training and education sessions related to the use of information systems and products
