About the session:

Are you ready for the digital movement?  Globally, Covid-19 has forced the digital agenda to the top of everyone’s priority list, including the Government of Canada’s.  Join us while Whitney Dykeman talks about how the GC is leveraging GCdocs and M365 to implement persona-based Business Workspaces to enable the integration of these two platforms.  This technology will provide users with the best of both worlds – the collaborative platform of M365, and the robust records management of GCdocs to ensure legislative compliance.

About the Speaker:

Whitney Dykeman is a Senior Information Management Advisor working with the Digital Service Branch at Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC).  Her current notable projects include the development of the Information Management (IM) Playbook for the integration of M365 with GCdocs, with a focus on user experience and design from an IM perspective.

Prior to this role, Whitney was a Government of Canada (GC) employee for over 15 years, helping GC organizations with their transformation of processes and services. She held an oversight and a management role in the implementation of new technologies in support of the Pension Transformation initiative, as well as the implementation, post-implementation and support of GCdocs, at various organizations including the Government of Canada Pension Centre (GCPC) and the Receiver General and Pension Branch (RGPB) at PSPC.  Notably, she held increasingly prominent positions, culminating in the roles of Senior Business Advisor and Project Manager, while honing her project and change management skills at PSPC.

Whitney holds a Masters Information Management (MIM) from Dalhousie University.

Hope to see you there!
