Time May Change Technology, But it Will Never Change Our Responsibilities: Tangibly Operationalizing Information Governance to Reduce Information Risk
While the technologies that store information advance and change, responsibilities and requirements of information management stay the same. This session focusses on concrete examples, tools and strategies for how to operationalize fundamentals of information governance in an increasingly complicated decentralized digital world. These tools and strategies will outline how to mitigate information risk when designing and enabling Cloud portals, robotic process automation and optimizing the evolving virtual work environments. The presenters will highlight outcomes from key initiatives while working for Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. Concepts will include designing and implementing requirements for advanced technological tools and interactive work with audience members to complete a basic checklist they can take home and use in their own organizations.
