Our February Information Session will be hosted at the NAV CANADA head office (151 Slater Street), but you will also be able to attend virtually.

Session Topic:

The Employee Experience of Records Management

Your policies and procedures help shape the experience other employees go through. But how many employees at your organization would describe the RM part of the job in positive terms? We are often so focused on our own agenda and challenges that we don't stop to examine what the experience feels like from the other side.

Your organization will have better compliance with its RM program when it forms part of a positive experience overall. This session looks at what we can do to move in that direction.

Speaker Bio:

Lewis S Eisen, JD, CIP is the author of the international bestseller How to Write Rules that People Want to Follow: A guide to drafting respectful policies and directives, 3rd Edition. He combines his experience practicing law with 20 years of business consulting and 12 years' experience in RIM in the federal government, to show people how to shift their organization’s policy writing culture from confrontational to cooperative. Lewis’s approach to drafting policies using respectful language has been adopted at organizations across the US, Canada, and Europe, and he is the 2020 recipient of the Britt Literary Award from ARMA International.
